Local Resources

Crucial to breastfeeding success is the support of your family, professionals, and other breastfeeding mothers sharing their own personal experience! We encourage women, before and after giving birth, to reach out for help, ask questions, and receive friendly reminders of the difference you are making in the life of your baby by breastfeeding. The Breastfeeding Coalition regularly updates listings on the resources available in Palm Beach County ( Please click here to email for inclusion/updates to our listings):

La Leche League is an international organization whose mission is “to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother”. La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend monthly meetings held at different locations around the county, or call a Leader for breastfeeding help or information.
